Ho Hong commenced his film study in Arts Center College of Design, Los Angeles, became an MV and Commercial Director once he returned to Hong Kong and earned multiple awards throughout his career.
Besides producing advertising films, Ho Hong studied MFA (Creative Media) in City University of Hong Kong where he wrote several movie scripts. Short Narrative “Waiting ”was selected as the Finalist for Discovery Award in Hollywood Film Festival 2001.
“Doomsday. Party 末日.派對 ”is Ho Hong first feature and became the winner of HAF (Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum) Awards 2013. The movie was released on 2013-2014 and was officially selected by various Film Festivals including Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival, Dallas International Film Festival, Singapore Chinese Film Festival…
Film Project “Déjà Vu, I Love You 似曾愛過你 ”was selected as New Talent Project at Shanghai International Film Festival 2014.
Film Project “Lost in Border 越界12小時 ” was selected in HAF 2015 and gain the Network of Asian Fantastic Film Award.
Film Project “Filial Betrayal 骨辱 ”was selected as NAFF Project in Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival 2017.
Film Project “Gift of Nothing 不一樣的禮物” was selected as SIFF Project at Shanghai International Film Festival 2018.
He is currently a Lecturer in Creative Art of the School of Arts & Social Sciences, OUHK.
